Combustion Analysis
More often than not furnaces are not setup and commissioned correctly on initial installation. A proper furnace setup and commissioning consist of clocking the gas meter and adjusting gas pressures to ensure that the proper amount of gas is getting the the furnace. Once that is established we will perform a combustion analysis on your system. We can adjust, gas pressures, orfice size, and ensure adequate combustion air for your system to have a safe and efficient flame.
We can also assess other combustion appliances such as water heaters so you can be assured you have a healthy and safe home.
Safety: Combustion analysis helps ensure that the furnace is burning fuel efficiently and safely. It can detect issues such as incomplete combustion, which can produce dangerous carbon monoxide (CO) levels. Identifying and addressing such issues is crucial for preventing carbon monoxide leaks, which can be deadly.
Efficiency: Combustion analysis can assess how efficiently the furnace is burning fuel. If the furnace is not operating at peak efficiency, it can lead to higher energy bills and increased carbon emissions. By optimizing combustion, customers can save money on heating costs and reduce their environmental impact.
Performance: Furnace performance can be affected by factors like clogged burners, improper air-to-fuel ratios, or worn-out components. Combustion analysis can identify these issues and help technicians fine-tune the furnace for better heating performance and more even temperature distribution throughout the home.
Environmental Impact: Customers who are environmentally conscious may request combustion analysis to minimize the environmental impact of their heating system. An inefficient furnace can release more pollutants into the atmosphere, contributing to air pollution and climate change. Optimizing combustion reduces emissions and is more environmentally responsible.
Comfort and Indoor Air Quality: A properly functioning furnace with optimized combustion provides consistent heating, leading to improved comfort in the home. It also contributes to better indoor air quality by reducing the release of pollutants and potentially harmful combustion byproducts.
